For those who may not know; Ringo, the penguin, helps teach schoolchildren in Zurich about the public transport system. Ringo, being a penguin, is unable to fly. He needs public transport to help him get from place to place. We at Amazee Metrics, in an effort to help Ringo and his fellow commuters, were tasked to assist Zürcher Verkehrsverbund (Zurich Transport Network) in improving their web analytics setup.

Content Grouping in Google Analytics is used to reflect the logical structure of your site. It is typically used to compare and aggregate data within groups you create. It also helps in analysis of your data, as you do not have to deal with messy URL’s, when you try and aggregate groups of data or compare sections of your website.

If you would do a search on long distance relationships, you most probably end up at forums and blog posts where people tell you not to start a long distance relationship. Why would you let yourself in with such negativism? Get offline, hop on a plane and break the distance! 

Price Extensions - a logical step when we think offline

It can be quite a disappointment for users to find out that the ad they are clicking leads to a product that does not match their price expectations. Someone at the Google AdWords headquarters must have had that train of thoughts when coming up with the next thing for text ads: Price extensions. They are here to save everyone’s time and, of course, money.

Once again the annual Swiss Online Marketing Expo SOM opened its doors for two days of sharing online-marketing expertise. Patrick is co-founder of Unic, Senior Executive at OpenText and now CEO of the award winning FinTech company Qumram. His experience in the international ICT industry and his excellent entrepreneurial and leadership skills make him the perfect candidate for the strategic development of Amazee Metrics.

At the AdWords Conference in Zurich, I gave a presentation about how to create powerful remarketing lists with Google Analytics. In the first part of the presentation, I explained what remarketing is and showed the different types of remarketing.
